We know that terms and conditions can be a bit boring, but they are here both to protect us both,  so please make a cup of tea, sit down and have a good read of them.


1.1 All contracts in respect of retreats and wellness events are made with Perfect Pose Retreats.  Your contract with us incorporates these Terms and Conditions and by making a booking with us you confirm your acceptance of them.


2.1 When you make a booking and pay for your place on a retreat, we will reserve your arrangements based on these Terms and Conditions.

2.2 Please follow carefully all the booking details and subsequent instructions. We shall not be liable for your failure to do so.

2.3 You must be at least 18 years of age at the time of booking.

2.4 The person who makes the booking is responsible for ensuring that these Terms and Conditions are drawn to the attention of every person on whose behalf he/she has made the booking. We will only deal with that person in all subsequent correspondence and dealings.

2.5 When you make a booking you are confirming that you understand these Terms and Conditions and have the authority to accept, and do accept them on behalf of yourself and all members of your party. You are also responsible for making all payments due, ensuring the accuracy of all personal details and other information supplied in respect of yourself and your party, notifying us of any changes or cancellations and for receiving correspondence and keeping your party informed of any changes to your booking.

2.6 Your booking will be taken as confirmed in respect of all persons named on your booking request and a binding contract between us will come into existence only when you have made full payment and we have also sent to you our Written Confirmation by email. If your proposed arrangements are not available at the time of booking then a Written Confirmation will not be issued and payment will be returned (unless you accept alternative arrangements that we are able to provide).  We strongly recommend that you do not make any travel or other arrangements prior to receiving our formal confirmation that your requested date is available, as we cannot be held liable for any loss incurred.

2.7 Please check the Written Confirmation as soon as you receive it. Contact us immediately if any information which appears on the Written Confirmation appears to be incorrect or incomplete, as it may not be possible to make changes later.

2.8 We regret that we cannot accept any responsibility if we are not notified of any inaccuracies in any document, including the Written Confirmation, within 10 days of sending it out. Whilst we Perfect Pose will do our best to rectify any inaccuracies notified outside of this time limit, you will be responsible for any costs and expenses involved in doing so.


3.1 You will pay us the full price of your retreat or wellness event as set out online or quoted in written correspondence from Perfect Pose at the time you place the booking.

3.2 Payments will be made via Perfect Pose's online booking system or through  At Perfect Pose Retreats’ discretion, it may be possible for some payments to be made by cheque or bank transfer.  Please contact us first if you wish to pay this way.

3.3 We reserve the right to refuse a booking without giving any reason for such refusal.


4.1 If you wish to change your arrangements in any way you must inform us in writing as soon as possible. We will try to help you, although we cannot guarantee that we will always be able to do this as changes are subject to availability at the time.

4.2 If we are unable to make the requested amendments and you do not wish to continue with your booking then our cancellation charges apply.

4.3 If you wish to cancel all or part of your booking you must write to us as soon as you can and receive acknowledgement from us.

4.4 It may be possible to transfer your booking to another person or date rather than incur cancellation fees, subject to a £25 administration charge.

4.5 Dishonoured cheques will incur a £25 charge.

4.6 The following cancellation charges will apply:

More than 56 days = 40% of total cost payable

55 – 22 days = 70% of total cost payable

21 days or less = 100% of total cost payable

4.7 If cancellation of a party member results in under occupancy of a room with a shared bed, the person remaining in that room must pay the single occupancy rate at the time of cancellation.


5.1 Perfect Pose Retreats reserves the right in any circumstance to cancel any retreat. For example, some retreats operate only with a minimum number of participants and we may therefore have to cancel where there are insufficient numbers. In this eventuality, you will be offered transfer to another retreat (without administration charges) or a full and prompt refund.

5.2 Where we make a cancellation we will not be liable for any problems caused or losses, such as but not exclusively travel costs, incurred by you.



6.1 We cannot take responsibility for the weather conditions experienced on a retreat.

6.2 We reserve the right to amend or cancel activities at our absolute discretion where staff or guest safety is regarded as being at risk. This may happen for reasons including adverse weather conditions, health concerns that were not clearly identified at the time of booking, or fitness levels that are not appropriate for the activity. Examples of circumstances under which activities may need to be amended include flooding of areas and snow and ice on walking routes.

6.3 If activities are amended or cancelled due to safety considerations, we will do our very best to provide alternatives that are favourable to the guests. At our discretion, we may also offer a discount on future bookings, but there is no requirement for Perfect Pose Retreats to offer any compensation.

6.4 Whilst appropriately qualified persons will advise on safety, and lead activities, participants engage in these activities at their own risk and accept responsibility for their own actions. 


7.1 Perfect Pose Retreats accepts responsibility for ensuring the retreat you book with us is as described on the website and the services and activities offered are of a good standard.

7.2 Perfect Pose Retreats is not liable for services that incur an extra cost, such as massage treatments.

7.3 Perfect Pose Retreats accepts no responsibility for the acts or omissions of our employees, agents and suppliers.



8.1 Perfect Pose will not be held responsible for any loss or theft of, or damage to personal possessions occurring whilst on a retreat. Whilst Perfect Pose will endeavour to ensure the security of guests’ personal possessions, it is not guaranteed.

8.2 Guests will be responsible for damage to accommodation that results in charges to Perfect Pose by the accommodation provider, where the damage has been caused by negligence.



9.1 We want you to have an enjoyable and memorable experience with us and to join us again in the future. Should you have any cause for complaint, please contact us immediately and we will try to resolve your issue as quickly as possible. If the problem cannot be resolved quickly you should complete a complaint form, which you will be asked to sign to ensure that it sets out your full complaint properly and which we will undertake to investigate as soon as possible and report back to you. If you are unhappy with the outcome of our investigation you must put this to us in writing within 28 days of the end of your retreat.

9.2 Your failure to comply with this complaints procedure may deprive us of the opportunity to investigate and rectify your complaint and may affect your rights under these Terms and Conditions.



10.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by English Law. Any claim or dispute arising out of them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.



11.1 Information about you and members of your party, including your names, contact details and any special needs, disabilities or dietary requirements is collected by us at the time of booking. We may disclose this information to our service providers for the purpose of providing you with services such as activities or transport. Only information necessary for this purpose will be disclosed to them.

11.2 From time to time we may contact you by post or email with information about special offers or company news. If you do not wish to receive such information, please notify us in writing and/or click the ‘unsubscribe’ link in our emails.

11.3 You are entitled to obtain details of the information that we hold about you. You may also ask us to make changes to the information we hold about you or your marketing preferences to ensure that it is accurate and kept up to date. If you wish to do this, please send an email to

11.4 We do not store credit card details, nor will we share your details with any third party.


12.1 By booking your place on a retreat, you recognise that exercise requires physical exertion, which may be strenuous and may cause physical injury, and you are fully aware of the risks and hazards involved.  It is your responsibility to consult a physician prior to and regarding your participation in the yoga classes and activities offered by Perfect Pose Retreats.

12.2 At the time of booking and during your retreat, you represent and warrant that you are physically fit and you have no medical condition, which would prevent your full participation in the retreat you have booked to join.  Unfortunately, our retreats are currently not suitable for those who are pregnant.

12.3 In further consideration of being permitted to participate in the retreat activities, I knowingly, voluntarily and expressly waive any claim I may have against Perfect Pose Retreats and its instructors for injury or damages that I may sustain as a result of participating in these programmes.

12.4 You should understand that from time to time during yoga classes, the instructor may physically adjust students’ form and posture. If you do not want such physical adjustments, you should inform the instructor at each class you attend. You should also acknowledge that if you do wish to receive such adjustments, it is your responsibility to inform the instructor when an adjustment has gone as far as you desire at that time.

12.5 Your teacher is available for questions and answers in person (pre or post the yoga sessions). You are responsible for your own well-being during the class and are advised to practice at your own pace. You must inform the teacher if there has been any changes in your medical / health condition which might affect your yoga practice.
